| Websites That Pay Writers Upfront Cash For Writing Online- If you are
tired of Associated Content, Ehow, or other low paying writing sites,
then you might take comfort in the fact that there are many online
writing sites that will pay you upfront for your articles. While
Associated Content may be good to practice your writing skills, it is
quite impossible to make a real living with these websites. Some people
have claimed to have made $2000 a month with Ehow, but this was only
after a year of writing for pennies. But, there are many ways to make
real money online writing, since the writing business is a huge field.
What is even more appealing; you don't have to be the best writer;
although decent writing skills does help. Here are 7 online writing
sites that pay upfront for your articles:
1. Bright Hub- This is another favorite of mine, and they have gotten
some pretty good reviews online from other writers. Bright hub focuses
on Evergreen content. Evergreen content lasts always and are
categorized as reference articles such as Wikipedia or computer guides.
What I like about this site is they have one of the biggest payouts
($10 per article :) ) Most of their article base is filled with
technology, science and gadgets, however, they do accept other topics
such as Business, marketing and finances. You must pass a small test (
in which you write a small writing sample) I think the writing sample
is under 200 words so you don't have to worry about them getting a free
article out of you. Once you are accepeted as a writer, you are paid
once your articles are accepted, which has to go through a
moderator/editor. You are also paid $1 for every backlink you produce
for the article! Not bad if you ask me, especially with all of the
social bookmarking sites online.
2. LoveToKnow- I ran across this site when I was looking for an
alternative to Associated Content. Most freelance writers like this
site because they have a more wider topic database. Some of their
topics include; fashion, money and finances, health, travel and much
more. When looking for writing jobs here, just scroll to the bottom of
the screen and click on the link 'write for us'. Be prepared to write a
short sample.
3. SSWUG.ORG- This website claims to pay at least $20 per article! Now,
any online freelance knows this is extremely rare. If you are an expert
in technology, this might be the site for you, since they focus on this
niche. Their payment method includes check and paypal. I am not sure
whether there is a thresh-hold or when they adminster checks.
4. Junglepage- Junglepage is dedicated to writing college papers
including (thesis, essays, etc.) I would be careful with this site,
even though many writers claimed to have made a nice chunk of change
writing essays. This type of writing business is frowned upon, so I
wouldn't be too quick to jump on board unless you have a lot of
experience writing online. The thing about this site is there are some
months where you will receive more work, such as in May, June and
April. Most people don't want to sit in their college dorm on a nice
summer day writing college essay papers.
5.Freelance Writing- This site is pretty good if you want to put up
with the whole bidding process. However, there are tons of writing jobs
available online. When visiting the site, look on the top right and
click on 'writing jobs'. |
